How is Biomass being converted?
Thermal- Biomass can be burned down at power plants. In the power plant, it is burned down in a boiler into high pressure steam and can be used as electricity.
Thermochemical- By heating plant matter it is possible to break down the plant into gases, liquids and solids.
Biochemical- Plants that ferment can be turned into alcohol and also turned into ethanol gas mix which is another solution for gasoline.
